hey its normal you dont have to feel insecure about talking to you mom.. after all she is you mother and who else could be a better person to talk to about stuff.. its ok for you to talk to her about puberty and your hormones.. i think it will be great for you because she is a female and she will be able to hgelp you there since you will be involved with gurls all your life it will be god for you. she may be the best person to talk to about these stuff.. so dont be shy trust me when i was going through that stage i went this same kind of difficulty and it bad because the faster you can communicate with her about your feelings the better you will feel and the more knowledge you will accquire....so hurry up and go talk to her trust me it will be good you wont regret

Just know that your mom loves you no matter what! Whatever you tell her, she will love you anyway. Most moms want thier daughters to ask them anything, about sex, boys, or anything else in that topic because she is going to give you advice and lead you in the right direction. Trust her, she is trying to protect you and keep you well informed at the same time.

I think all girls go through this at some point.
and I'm sure your mom went through it with her mom too.

Start with some of the smaller issues and see how she reacts, if you like the way things are going..work up to some of the more serious stuff.
Good luck, and remember, she's probably just as nervous about it as you are

Tell your mom you want to talk to her but tell her to listen and that you need her and to give you advice like a friend. Tell her that you want the best for you that's why you are coming to her to talk and not someone else.

insecure? why'd you get insecure, in front of whom? it's your mom right ~ and you can share everything with her. and she'd really love to be able to give solutions to her daughter's problems. these issues are stuff that must be discussed with someone older, and your mum is just the person you should go to in these sorta times

If it is embarrassing to talk to her, maybe you could write a in a notebook and have her answer it by writing a response. It could be a notebook for only you and your mom to read and write in. Hope this helps.
