I believe John Frieda makes a frizz-ease straightening serum...try that or another brand. Also, try using a glosser, which is just a very very light oil that reduces frizzies.

the truth is that if it's very hot & humid in your area, your hair will frizz no matter what. the straightening serums and balms can only do so much. after a certain point, they can't continue to fight what mother nature has intended for your beautiful hair. unless you want to get a perm, i would suggest going with natural hair styles. if your hair is thick and curly it shouldn't be too hard to play around and find a style that suits you.
I have the same problem with my hair, except that it's fine rather than thick (i secretly envy you). in the cooler months i go with a press and curl. but when the summer months come around and the humidity is out of control, i find it best to do natural styles. like a wash-and-wear curly style; you can wear it down, pin it up, make a sloppy (but cute) bun, the options are pretty much endless.
if you're willing to invest, you can ask a stylist about silicone treatments. it isn't a perm but it is some form of slimy silicone that seals the hair's cuticle and helps to maintain straight styles. basically, it holds a press longer. i used to get them a few years ago. it helped make my hair easier to press and it was very shiny; but then again, it could only do so much. once i started sweating and going out in temperatures that were 90 degrees and higher, it was a wrap. but it is an alternative to a perm. i see a lot of people suggesting frizz-ease; that is a good product. if you want, there is also lottabody staight styling lotion. but be careful not to use too much of either of these; that will just wiegh your hair down.
i know that you want super straight hair but keep in mind that straightening balms/cremes/serums aren't really created with our kind of hair in mind. embrace your curls! besides, all of the people with straight hair wish that they had nice, full curls, anyway. good luck!

use a straightening shampoo and conditioner. next blot ur hair dry with a towel and then put some frizz control cream. let ur hair air try or until it is damp. use a brush and a blow dryer to dry it straight. then use a flat iron and straighten it. i would recommend u do this the day before and sleep on it to make it straighter in the morning. it worked for me, hope it worked for u too.

I have the same problem especially since I live in a humid city where it rains every other day.You have to get a really good flat iron I use Maxi Glide you can get it at Bed Bath and Beyond. They also have this leave in cream where it leaves your hair coated made by the same people that sell the maxi glide.

I have the same problem.straghitening it with a flat iron just makes it worse. What i do is get my hair texturized every 2 months at a salon.doesnt cost that much and its really straight and smooth.you should use sunsilk shampoo too, keeps away the frizzzing.
