I watched a show on this the other night. Apparently, there is a natural ridge approximately ten feet under the water at the Red sea, that runs across its 5.2 mile width. Appparently, when the wind blows hard enough in one direction, this causes the water to blow down the natural shore line, then up and over the ridge - which holds the water back and gives a clear pathway across the sea for 5.2 miles!!! Even Napoleon Bonaparte crossed the Red Sea this way! He almost died when the wind changed direction suddenly and the water came rushing back in.....
Of course, I was watching this on some BS Christian TV channel - so they said that this provides PROOF that the story of Moses is real!!!!! REALLY! I thought it meant that Moses and his people COULD have crossed the red sea in this fashion - buit it certainly wasnt because Moses had parted the seas by raising his arms over his head and commanding the waters to part. Imbeciles.... If this was the case, then Napoleon was also working miracles....
Moral - God doesnt exist. It was nature.

No, Israel has not turned their back against God. It's these other countries who has turned their back on Israel. It clearly states in the bible these things will take place. It is happening right now. This is Gods holy country. People better leave Israel alone. This all has to take place to full fill the prophecy and the end times of the worl. JESUS IS COMING SOON !!!!!

Just so you know, outside of the extremely religious types in Israel, a great deal of Israelis aren't religious at all. They've had to be militant because they're defending their home from the others surrounding them who want to smother them. Who's to say God would condemn this war? How do you think (in Biblical days) the Jews got Israel in the first place?

If you read the story of the parting of the red sea you will notice that it was not parted until the Israelites went as far as they could on their own. The same still holds true. Israel will do all it can for itself and in the end G-d wil pull them through.

The Israel you speak of is the official version or "orthodox" Judaism that denies that God is now visible in a visible body or Jesus Christ.
People should know that Israel legislates this erroneous orthodoxy and Christians and Muslims are second class citizens there.
The world's solution is usually to freeze borders and preserve status quo.

Yes they have turned from God. They just came back into existence in 1948 after being gone for nearly 1900 years.

I think it's inadequate to say that you put faith in war machines. War machines are science, so you put your faith in science itself, and in more general, the world around you. Is isreal relying on war machines to fight its battles? Probably. Would relying on god be anymore effective? Hard to say.
