What if your son goes to hell? Doesn't sound like heaven to me.
Would god make you forget him so that you can enjoy heaven? So many reasons this won't work...

Heaven is a place of love and the love we have there no one can tell you of but God. There will be no marriage or giving in marriage there but we will love everyone and even if we don't, why would it cause any anger from anyone there? Is there not enough love to go around? Don't you have a different love for your husband or your mother or father than you have for your son? Does that really create conflict? If so, it is because there is still sin in the world here but there all sin will be left behind. I am sure we will interact with everyone at some time or another but just as here, some we will be closer to than others. But no more hatred of anyone. Love for others does not lessen any love for your son or anyone else. I am sure you will be so glad that you and your son made it that it won't matter how much you love or don't love anyone else.

On Earth we love people in different ways, the love that I feel for my wife is different to that I feel for my son, and different again to the love I feel for my parents.
I dont think the amount matters, its the style. Love is like a bucket of air. No matter how often you empty it, its always full!
You obviously are a strong believer, but you are tying yourself in knots over nothing. Surely, if you believe that much in heaven you can rely on God to supply you with the answer to this, and everything else when you get there? As to the last bit of your question, Jesus said, There are many rooms in my fathers house. I take that to mean that there is room for us all in Heaven, and since peoples views about it differ, all will be satisfied.
Dont worry about the details, enjoy your faith, and may your God walk with you.
BTW I'm not a churchgoer, almost not a christian, but Its been my privilidge to know love, and I wish you all the best in your faith and life. But I should concentrate on your Life NOW, and leave tomorrow and heaven to God.
Good Luck

In all honesty, you may decide to create a world together. If you have enough shared experience and same imagintive fantasy worlds you escape to, I couldn't see why not. Do you read alot of the same books and watch the same movies and understand the same concepts. Heaven is always about like minds. Technically it is one of the laws of gravity and magnetism. That is why there are so many different ideas of heaven in each culture. Where you beleive you will go is where you will be. Oh by the way, is this where you wanted to be in your past life. If you die and go to heaven was true. Look around this place is awesome.

The love of the Lord will overshadow any preferencial feelings we have for someone. Even here on Earth we can love a great many people. I love my son dearly, but in a different way than I love a friend. When we are in Heaven I believe we will be capable of so much love that preferential treatment will be negligable and, if there is any, it will be understood by all. I really don't think you have anything to wory about.

The misconception about love is that it comes from the self. It does not. God is love, all love comes from him. Love flows through us. The more you give, the more comes through you. You love your son because motherhood is one of your callings on earth. God gives you all the love you need to fulfill your callings on earth. He makes it very easy for us to follow the Spirit this way.
In heaven we will be surrounded and full of love. You will be able to be with your family and friends in heaven, but there will not be conflicts or anger because we will be lacking nothing. There will be plenty of time to spend with anyone you choose. Jesus says that there is no marriage in heaven and that we will be like the angels. But that doesn't mean you can't spend tons of time with the people you loved on earth.
God bless.

no, we will love everybody equal... Your son is biologically yours. But you never gave him a soul.God did. Every soul is uniek and not owned by any humans. We will love ppl for the fact that they are from God. Not because there old bodies where biologically our desendents.
You will love your son more then you ever can love him now, but the love will be the same as for the rest of the ppl in heaven. Maximum love is max. There is no more beyond maximum.

Your life now is the only you are going to get. Do not waste time on preparing for an uncertain after life when you could be spending it with your son who obviously love very much. Now matters. Now, because once the life you have is over, there is no longer a tomorrow. So make the most of today.

Well he is an individual who came through you. I think you will have favorite people, I'm sure he will be one. Most of our love (as if you could give it all away) goes to Christ.
The feeling of love is there VERY MUCH, but I think to differentiate, on a level of:
like (as you love the things you do for family), and you like everyone in heaven.
Enjoy (as you love your children) to special people you know and meet.
Love (a higher feeling of love [no words for it]) to Christ and God.
I just don't have the right words to describe it as I see it.
Now I don't know how its going to be but it will be on a 24/7 feeling like you were on fire with this love and enjoyed the feeling

The understanding that I get from my Pastor about Heaven - is when we get there we will have our heavenly bodies and we will love one another; and meet our love ones or other angels, but will love them as we love everyone else!@
