Yep...definitely use the wax and maybe try some Ambusol for the pain of the sores in your mouth. Rinsing with warm salt water first would be a good idea to do before the Ambusol. It will probably burn but at least it will help fend off infection, which will make it worse. Also just eat soft foods until the sores heal or at least better, as hard foods would probably irritate the sores even more. Good luck!

Believe it or not, Root Beer has herbal benefits that help reduce the swelling of mouth sores. This remedy has actually been around for a long time. Drink a little every day and swish it around in your mouth before swallowing. I hope it helps you.

Try mixing just the tiniest little bit of hydrogen peroxide in warm water and swish it around a little, then spit it out. Do not swallow unless you want to die. It worked wonders for me when I had braces. You could try just plain salt water, too, but I found that it didn't work as well.

Use wax, and if it does not help chew sugarfree gum and put on it just chew it every few minuites so it does not stick. Put orajel or anbesol on it to reduce the pain, or take advil if that does not help.

you're dentist should have given you some braces wax.
its wax that you place on the braces so it seperates the metal from the insides of your mouth.
its free so don't bother giving them a dollar if they ask for it.

the wax doesnt help at all just so you know.

the only real way is just to wait a few days after you get them on/tightened. just be gentle w/ your teeth.
