It seems to me that you really DON'T have the chance to ever see him. I only have one question....how did you manage to fall in love with him in the first place if you never get to see him? I personally don't feel that a relationship can be healthy if the two people spend more time apart than they are together. I'm sure the opinions will vary widely on this one, but it is my own opinion that you should enjoy him while you can, and be on the lookout for mister right. Someone that will have the time to spend with you. Good quality time....not a few minutes here and an hour there. I think you're setting yourself up for heartbreak by locking yourself to this guy. I'm sure he is a fantastic person, but the fact is, he's never around. You need companionship with a mate, not oh when will be the next 5 minutes I can spend with him. Just something to consider, but ultimately it's up to you.

Hes working alot of hours. Does he call you? Its your choice but it sounds like you're not happy with this arrangement. Are weekends any different? Talk to him before you let him go so he knows and see if that changes anything.

Is it possible for you to be with him when he works?
Would be better if he changes job as this is no good for long term relationship be it single or when you are married

if you don't truly love him and you are sick of being lonely. my opinion is yes because he is putting his job before you and he isn't making an effort to spend time with you.

i say if you are truly in love with him then you will find a way to be with him no matter what. and if you don't then don't string him along.
