Alright, here's the situation, I go off to school in about a month, and my girlfriend will be stuck here, so....I want to do something one night before I leave. Dinner and a movie, or any of that stuff, just doesn't work for us. So, call me crazy, but I'm leaving this open for you guys to drop some suggestions. I'm thinking of just taking to an open meadow or something in the evening, but beyond that...I'm stumped. It always works out that way, once we get to where we want to go, we have no idea what we should do.

Any ideas?...
(Other than sex or any kind of sexual act. The idea is to be romantic, and not ... sexual.)

Take her to a lake and set out a picnic lunch of her favorite foods and fruits. sit at the foot of the lake and wash her feet while you tell her how special she is to you and all the things that you will miss about her. Then during your picnic give her a friendship ring that lets her know that she is special, present it with some poetry and a single long stem rose, then give another rose everyday for the next 11 days until she has a dozen and enclose a special note with each one letter her know how she will linger in your thoughts and heart until you see her again.

A picnic is a great idea. Lay a blanket out on the ground. (a lantern and bug spray is good too) Bring all of her favorite foods. Preferably some that you have made yourself. Just sit and talk for a while and eat. You could take a couple of comfy sleeping bags and lay out under the stars all night. If its possible to sleep there its even better. She would remember that night anytime she looked up at the stars. If you really want brownie points you can contact the star registry and buy her a star (around $50 i think) and take her out there to show her which one it is.

Hi

I think you should get her a bracelet or a ring and engraves both of your intials on it and tell her how much you love and appreciate her.

Or alternatively, if you've the time, write her a short daily message for the period of time that you'd be away from each other! Place the short notes in a box, you could date them and tell her to open one every day or each morning!

Little things go a long way.

Or you could revive the first date ! Do everything again and tell her how much you love her!

Or Video tape your pledge of love for her and let her view it !

Have fun!

CHeers!

Glad to see you are making efforts for her!

Good boy!

WINKS!

Have a romantic dinner at a nice restaurant. Then go for a walk in the town. Don't forget to get her some roses...she'll like dat!
Then finish it off by going to your house and watching a romatic movie with her. Just cuddle!

Well, last spring our highschool class went on vacation in a ski resort in northern minnesota and it was just beautiful up there. My boyfriend and I went for a walk everyday it was really cool coz it was just nature and us. And we went canoeing. and went to the source of the mississippi river. Then at night there was a campfire and we'd sit around the fire and talk and just enjoy being with each other. I think that was really romantic!

I'd rent a limo, eat somewhere nice and have a scenic drive around town. Then back to your place, have drinks and watch some funny movies.

I would put little notes all around her place where you know she could see them. They could be simple little sayings or famous love poems or cute little pictures that would remind her of you. And you could get really creative and cut them out in hearts or cute little shapes. Something sweet and personal like that.
