When I was single I used to feel a bit of both, but always kept in my head that being single was much better than being in the wrong relationship.

free because you are alone, lonely because you are alone too. Sometimes we cannot make some adjustments in life however, it is in within us that we can feel free and we can feel lonely at the same time. What others do, they tend to divert their loneliness to enjoyment such as, having a pet, planting flowers and so on. Why not do it? You are free and will not be lonely. Some days I feel really free. Not having to wash, cook, clean etc after some useless bloke who can't take care of himself and couldn't even be arsed to wash half the time but other days I feel lonely. I'd like someone to cuddle up to and talk shite with and go shopping and for meals with. Ah well, I'm sure I'll find someone. But you actually feel both I'm afraid : (

Depends. I feel free when Im out with my girls dancing and having a good time & meeting people, and Lonely when I need a man to do guy things. Like mow the lawn.

It's the best feeling in the world to get rid of that sap that's been telling you what you can and cant do, what you can and cant wear, having a go at you if you happen to glance in the direction of another male!! Why would i feel lonely when i can do and say what i want!!

For the most part, I feel lonely....don't get me wrong, it's nice to have it just be you and you only sometimes BUT if I were to answer honestly, I would have to say that overall, it makes me feel sad......I'll even admit that when I go to bed, I snuggle with my extra pillow and put it up against my back..so that it feels like I have someone holding me....pretty pathetic for a 36 yr. old huh?

I feel free to take on the world by storm. If you are in a relationship you cannot do half the things you can when you are single. I love being single I hate being tied down.

well i am not in a relationship and sometimes i feel lonely that i don't have anyone to kiss and that but its a great feeling to be free and getting to go out with your friends all the time!!!
