No, I feel that Israel often takes unilateral actio without consulting its neighbors or world opinion. I do agree they have security concerns, and think Hezbollah needs to be romved from having influence in this arena, but I think Israel is doing it the wrong way.
That said, I am not sure what the answer is since there is a long history of antipathy between Israel and the Arab nations. I would think there would be a political and economic resolution that would work well, but getting everyone to agree is the hard part.

Please, let Israel be! They're a couple of million people trying to live in a piece of land about the size of New Jersey for thousands of years, surrounded by fierce enemies that want to see them all dead. The United States can attack and invade any country they want for no apparent reason and the world stays idle. Now Israel is trying to defend itself and we have a bunch of uneductated people criticizing them. We have to understand the context of the issue. It's not about 300 people dead, although we regret the loss of life, but it's about generation upon generation of struggle. Most of the arabs are cowards, they are a multitude of people living in a sea of land and they still can't destroy the jews. They hide behind women and children instead of fighting the israeli army head on. Israel should and will always defend itself. They have been thrown out of their land many times, and now that they get the chance to have an established state the whole world goes up against them. It's ridiculous. The world voted to have the state of Israel established. Their history goes beyond six thousand years on that region, much before there was islam (islam emerged around 600 a.d.). I say, go Israel, go after your enemies, but this time finish them off, don't pay attention to the world, because their opinion is always changing. Go United States, help your friend Israel and you will live in peace like you have for many years. My desire is that we see peace in Jerusalem...

Lebanese government should not have turned a blind eye to Hezbollah. They were told to remove Hezbollah from their Southern border by UN Resolution, but they ignored it and the continued terrorist attacks across their border upon Israel. I think any country that supports terrorism or turns a blind eye to terrorist organizations within it's borders should be attacked. Terrorism is the greatest threat of this century, and it cannot be tolerated by anyone for any reason. It shouldn't matter if you like your neighboring country, their race or their religion, allowing terrorists to set up shop in you borders and operate from within your country eventually brings destruction on it. They are reaping from what they have sown.
Too bad the fighting isn't kept between Israel's military and Hezbollah itself, but innocent people suffer in every war. Maybe if Hezbollah would quit hiding among civilians like cowards than the Lebanese people wouldn't be suffering so much. Ironic that they still blame Israel and not Hezbollah.

VERY satisfied. Israel at least has the balls to do what Americans can't seem to do; that is to kill muzzy terrorists. There will be no peace in the Middle East until every muzzy man, woman, and child is wiped off the face of the earth.

No, I am not satisfied with it.

The writer of the article is Jewish and he does not agree either because he seemingly sees in full colour or, in other words, thinks in forward motion.
It is necessary to try to see the full picture and acknowledge it. Personal sacrifices, as in doing with less, might have to be made before the general situaltion can change.
I see a lot of theft.
The article from the preceding week under 'Articles' is interesting too.

No! I believe than can do so much more, but they are keeping their real military might under wraps, in the event they need it against the Syrians and Iranians.
I believe too, they are trying to fight a 'clean' war, but they are fighting against such a dishonorable group of cowards that they have no alternative but to fight and defend as they have.
I hope this answers your question. I hope it changes your mind, too. Deep down inside, I know that it won't change your mind. A mind is such a terrible thing to waste!

No and I think it's unnecessary. They could try harder to solve problems peacefully. Every time a bomb explodes or Israeli gets killed, its out with the tank and troops and off they go.
