You shouldn't be. If you are, then you have trust and intimacy issues that need to be worked on between the two of you. You didn't become each others boyfriend and girlfriend with the caveat that you each would then give up every other independent aspect of your life. If you are worried that she is going to go off on holiday and shrug off any commitment she has to you, then you clearly don't know each other well enough yet. Relationships take work. They don't just happen. If you want a good relationship, then you two work on it, keeping an open hand and open heart so that trust will grow.

My fiancé works away for up to 4 months at a time. He's also going on an exped without me next year.
I'm going away without him for a fortnight quite soon for work.
I can't see the big deal if you're in a good relationship and trust each other. I'd be more concerned if he or I was bothered - it would mean that deep down one of us doubted the other.

well I dont have one but has she give you any reason not to trust her? I wouldnt worry to much! If shes anything like me you say your not going and next thing you come from work and Dodds is gone!!

yes in my case my bf is going with one of his buddy's for a week! I cant stand it but I know I have to give him the trust he deserves (but in the back of my mind I will worry)

My bf'Husband knows i took off two weeks (vac) due to not feeling well... But he is in Turkey im in Usa...(I have spent every day online or calling him) does web-hosting.
So why cant you trust her?
