The grass is blue because it isn't. It's green. Unless someone dyed it blue, or drew a blue line.

Um.. If you meant "Why is grass green?" then it's because of photosynthesis.

If the grass where you live is blue, I honestly don't know. But, it's also probably because of photosynthesis.

If you want to know why Kentucky Blue Grass is called Kentucky Blue Grass.. I live in FL and can't help you there.

Hi jdubdoubleu - grass is blue because you're wearing blue-tinted glasses! Or maybe you're looking at Kentucky Blue Grass.

If you're talking about bluegrass music (which has its roots in English, Irish and Scottish music) - it is what it is, and it even exists in Australia.

If you're talking about Kentucky Blue Grass, that's another thing. Bluegrass is a cool season, perennial ground cover; forming a beautiful, high quality, dense sod when grown in pure stands. Grass color ranges from bright green to deep bluish green.

because one day,
in a land called sherlimesickidoa, there was a boy who
realized that grass was real and thought hey!!?!
i want sherlimesickidoa to be different, he prayed and prayed and one day, it was christmas and he wished for blue grass...
it didnt come, so, he decided, what the heck, i'll paint the damn thing! so he did, he then realized that this grass was different, it disperses, so the blue chemicals followed everywhere it dispersed and fro that reason the grass is blue

no, that's the sky that's blue... grass is green. Unless you mean bluegrass which is a type of music therefore it's neither blue nor grass, or Kentucky bluegrass which actually is a type of grass but it is not blue at all... still green.
