They are crazy. Read some of the answers above and these religious WACKOS can not even conceive of a world where god's "will" is NOT "the free will" of man to butcher each other . How freakin' absurd?

So its god's will to empower us to kill each other? THATS NUTS!!!!

Sure, God could stop all the death and destruction, but are you willing to pay the price for that? Every human being is given free will. Are we willing to give up our freewill to stop this? Let me ask you a question, have you ever done anything to hurt someone intentionally or not? Even if not intentionally, you chose to do something that hurt someone (physically, emotionally, etc.) even if the act didn't have the intent of doing it.

Sure, God could make us all robots that would do everything He says and no one would hurt another person. That's the big issue, our free choice.

Understanding God is difficult for us, trusting Him is the first starting place. If you sincerely want to know God you will need to ask Him to come into your heart. If this doesn't make sense, then you won't ask and you won't know Him. Trying to put human thoughts around the creator of the universe won't work. He gives us freedom to accept Him or reject Him. Its up to every individual in the path of their own life to decide who Jesus is. Then read the Bible. After one accepts then all will start to make sense. God Bless, on your journey.

If you country had not dumped God 70 years ago you would not have this problem today. Think on that for a spell.

You would rather he take away our free will then? What if he began with you so that every time you were about to do something bad you were stopped by God? Is that what you're proposing?

Get your facts straight. If the 20th century is an indicator, far more people were killed in the name of atheism than in the name of religion. (eg. Mao Ze-Dong, Stalin)
