it's a marketing con, shloer tastes horrible, it's incredibly over-sweetened and isn't pure grape juice at all, plenty of added sugar. it's so sweet it made my teeth hurt. Kids would love it...

Well not all adults want a drink with alcohol in it, sometimes adults just want a nice refreshing drink.. the styling of the bottle is more mature than say that of a childs soft drink bottle...think about it coffee & tea are mostly drank by adults yet they don't have alcohol in them.. so are you basing your opinion on that if it's an "adult" drink it MUST have alcohol in it? For a drink to be aimed at adults?

Because it's supposedly got no sweeteners or preservatives in it. I've never tasted it, but no sweeteners? Maybe it's not as sweet as sugary sodas.
I wish Shloer was sold where I live, since I don't consume al-kee-holl.

Because it is meant to be more sophisticated than having a cola or a squash drink when you are an adult and not having an alcoholic drink. 'Adult' doesn't have to mean alcoholic!

so that adults feel a little bit better, its better to be drinking a sophisticated adult drink, rather than robinsons fruit and barley? its all about appealing to the inner snob.

because a "soft" drink is something with no alcohol in it and its aimed at adults.

have you ever tried non alchoholic wine? basicly its grape (with or without other fruits ie cranberries) which is fizzy. shloer tastes like that.

becuase they are tryin 2 prtray a sophisticated image, one that would make u feel a little richer than u would feel drinkin coke.
