People should stop referring to God as He and start calling God It.

So, instead of "He is the Lord Thy God" we should say "It is the Lord Thy God". Nah, even the word "Lord" has male connotations.

It is neither male nor female.

SOmetimes our questions can be humor based. Perhaps you didnt mean for it to appear so, but it certainly appears as such to me. If you are not aware of what anthropomorphisms are, let me explain. Anthropomorphism is the term which we use in academic language to describe God in terms of human character traits or characteristics. God is. God is not male or female, nor does he have hands, or ears or eyes as do human beings, although the Scripture refer to these characteristics for GOD in terms of how GOD relates, it is strictly for the benefit of humans to have some way of showing our interest and relationship to GOD. It might have been just as acceptable to say, GOD hears, without benefit of ears, GOD sees, without necessity of eyes, GOD feels without use of natural human sensory apparatus, yet all these merely define human function, and GOD so totally superceeds these natural functions that they are only relative to our way of descriptive terminology, yet GOD needs none of such.
SO one might wonder, what are we to this superlative we call GOD. Why did we come to be, insofar as GOD is concerned, we have no function of supply to any demand, for GOD has no need whatsoever?
I believe this: we exist because of the nature of GOD, that GOD loves. In this characteristic of love, GOD desires to love, and for that to be functional, there must be an recipient for that love. Ergo, GOD creates all things to love them. DO we love GOD in thankful response for being created to be the recipient of this love? Perhaps..if one has perception equal to the revelation of comprehension that everything exists because GOD loves to create and everything is in reality, a manifestation of this love of GOD and that included creating a human being both male and female and then subdividing that being into male and female corporal beings. We may not know how, but we can enjoy our relationship with each other. Sincerely

God gave people the ability to receive or reject him, I don't understand how people can turn him down so easily.
