I have this man that will not take NO for an answer he knows I have a big heart and he uses that against me. I do NOT love him but, he says he loves me and wants to wait for me to fall in love with him. I told him I don't see it happening I do NOT want to commit to anything or anyone right now( I was married over 25 yrs...) but, he insists. He calls constantely and if I don't answer he calls work and sometimes he will just come to my house and I hate that! I have told him time and time again to stop and he always has a "reason" why he is doing this.I am trying to be civil with the situation and not hurt his feelings too bad but, he is leaving me with out the option of doing so...Any suggestions? Thanks!!!

The only thing that you can really do is be brutally honest. At this point he has to have his feelings hurt a little. He must know you dont want him doing these things but he doesn't care. You need to just tell him straight out. If he still doesn't get it then you have to end the friendship all together. The more you talk/see him the more he will think he can make you fall in love with him. Believe me, Ive been there.

Well it seems like this guy really likes u. I mean he is even willing to wait intill u fall in love with him . That is a good commitment. U cant find many guys that would do that. Think about it I mean is he a bad guy cause he seems nice. Dont be stupid and run off a good man. Sit down and talk to him one on one and tell him how u feel. Give him a chance to talk. He seems like he is in to u.

Get a restraining order.

His behavior is bordering on stalking. You better be careful and not end up at the back of a milk carton.

Your situation is scary.

I think it's goign to come down to hurting his feelings. If the simple no hasn't gotten through yet, then it's time to step it up. If you no longer care and he's just annyoing you, then how badly you hurt him should not matter. If you seriously want him gone then sometimes you have to go to drastic measures(which would obviously hurt him)

You sound like one of my friend. Be direct with him and talk to him. Tell him how you feel exactly. Men like honesty and direct. Tell him that you don't want to hurt his feelings; but you have to let him know that what he is doing is not good...etc.

I wish women are more direct. If they hate us tell us that. Men can take that. Keep telling us that and we will get the idea.

I'd say the time for being nice is over. You have to tell him to get lost. If it doesn't work there's always Restraining Orders....

Which would you rather have? A man who loves you and you might learn to love someday, or a man you love but may not necessarily love you as much or not at all?
