Also as it is so multicultural would this affect my safety and would it affect me i.e. how do Israeli’s of any of the 3 religions react to tourists and would it affect living me amongst 3 religions.

Right now, the center of the country is safe. So go visit Jerusalem! There is a lot to see there--archeological sites, museums, religious sites, and more. Israelis generally like tourists, and most Israelis are thrilled to have a chance to practice their English. You need to consider the fact that Israeli manners seem "rude" to Americans and Europeans--words like "please" and "thank you" are not commonly used, but if you have any serious problem, everyone will be there to help. (Kind of the opposite of the US, where everyone says "Have a nice day" but will step over your limp body if you faint on the sidewalk!!)

Israel is a beautiful country to visit. There's SO much to see there! Its ure is rich, scenery is beautiful, people are interesting.
All religions here are happy with tourists- they bring good business. :)
Other than that, for now, I'd recommend to skip the North. (It's one of the most beautiful areas in Israel, but simply not safe nowadays. If you come later when things are quiet, you really must go there.)

I wouldnt go NOW or for a long time
Why would you go there after how many Americans fled?
I would make it a very distant future vacation .

go to Israel. by the time you will be there, all will be back to normal
