I mean like an action or something. Like not carrying your mother's bags from the grocery store, if you're a mafia boss.

I'm still spinning my head over your "for example": a mafia boss not carrying mother's bags from the grocery store?

Well let's see, here are ten insults without actually insulting:

1. At a cake party, give a woman the larger piece of cake.
2. When you are in a train and someone sits next to you, get out of the seat and sit next to someone else (making sure the person sees where you sit)
3. At a coffeehouse, tip the server 6 pennies on a $5 order and smile at them and thank them sincerely for their service.
4. Place a cup of coffee, partially sipped and leave it on the roof of someone's car.
5. When talking to a person, always act as if you are paying attention to something other than the person you are talking to.
6. *my favorite* when you see three people you know, say hi to one and only talk to them and completely ignore the other two people as if they do not exist.
7. Ask a girl to dance, at a club, when she says "yes", tell her, "I'll be right back" and then just exit the club and never come back to it.
8. *warning: this is a more expensive way of insulting "SOMEONE" without insulting "someone." Buy a sandwich at a deli where the person makes the sandwich in front of you. Then, pay for it (be sure to strike up a friendly conversation), and then tip them nicely, and then throw away the sandwich in the garbage so that they see you doing it and then leave the deli.
9. Ask a girl out on a date (be sure to act nervous and like a shy puppy). She'll think you're cute for doing that, and will tell you, "of course I'll go with you to the movies...) Then, tell her to pick you up at your parent's house and make her do all the arrangements..

Are you asking for a comprehensive list of all the things that all the people of the world might consider offensive? I know that when I walk past the panhandlers downtown without giving them money, they get offended. Tough cookies. This is why a society must have rules of etiquette. People might get insulted about anything at all. If you go to the Milwaukee Brewer's stadium and you cheer for the Cubs, Brewers fans get insulted. Who cares?
If you give people the right to be offended any time they feel like it, it will be impossible to get through a day without offending someone. There need to be social agreements about what people can rightfully expect from one another. And there are. If you work for a Mafia boss or any other boss, you should carry his mother's bags from the store if you happen to be at the store at the time. You should offer your seat on a bus or a train to anyone who appears to need a seat more than you do. You should hold open any door that you go through into a public place for anyone who is walking through just after you. You should say things like "thank you" if someone is courteous to you, "excuse me" if you are unable to avoid disturbing someone (but not as a way to force someone to pay attention to you and make it seem like you aren't being rude). The best way to insult a person is by making assumptions about them. The second best way to insult someone is to be easily offended.

Spitting in front of me.
Refusing to shake hands.
Slamming a door in my face.
Standing too close when talking (depends on the culture)
Cutting me off (traffic, grocery store, movie line,..)
Speaking a 3rd/4th language to cut me out of a conversation
Speaking badly about somebody/something I know

A way you could insult me without literally insulting me is if you acted like I was stupid because I don't have the best hearing. I don't know why people equate hearing with intelligence...

How about concentrating your energy on being a good person instead? The kind of person who doesn't insult? It sounds like a cliche, I know, but won't you at least think about it? I'm just saying...

In Thailand it's offensive to touch another persons head, point your feet at someone or drum your fingers on a counter.
I didn't find this out until i'd done each one.

You cannot, unless I choose to be insulted.

Your lack of social awareness - your ignorance and indifference to matters might well go some way towards my feelings about you, but then, it's my choice that I allow myself to be suckered into that trap of my own making.

feeling like you're insulting someone without actually insulting? well, why ask such question if you're not guilty of doing it either in your acts and words.

You could do said task by not drinking all of the coffee in the cup I so nicely handed you, that I brewed and poured for you (a pot for others too, though, like me).
