Admit that you have sinned and be sorry for it. Believe that Jesus shed His blood to pay the penalty for your personal sins, and rose again to prove that God accepted His sacrifice.
Ask Him to come into your heart through the Holy Spirit, so you can follow Him as Lord the rest of your life.
Walking down an aisle and being baptized has nothing to do with getting saved. These are things you do after you are saved.

Believe in your heart and confess with your mouth, " I believe Jesus is the Son of God, suffered in the flesh, took upon Himself the sins of the world(past, present, & future), gave His life, and rose again for me. I am a sinner & am not worthy, I cannot be saved by any works my own but I am save through Jesus.

When you get accepted by Jesus you get saved. Its a choice Jesus makes in His (distributive) justice. He has the right to forgive who He wants. What the bible indicates is that he looks for certain qualities in humans. Sincerity, seriousness stuff like that. In other words, if you really want to find God, He will draw you to Him. All you have to do is ask then... and then you will be forgiven and accepted by Him. You will experience that in a very strong way.
So believe with your heart, and confess with your mouth.

All you have to do is beleive the Gospel as it is presented in the Bible. We are in the age of grace, all you have to do is beleive and repent, repentance goes hand in hand with beleif.
The Gospel.
1Co 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
1Co 15:4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
1Co 15:5 And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve:
1Co 15:6 After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.
Did you notice the difference. It is not what you do, but what HE did. Your response? Repentance and faith, not letting [Giving God permission???] Christ come into or enter your heart or life!
(Yes, I know that Christ dwells in our hearts by faith, and that you were saved by grace through faith, but I challenge anyone to show me one verse saying that says the gospel is anything more than an invitation from GOD to believe on his son. It is certainly not an invitation by you to let God do something. The first option is God centered the second humanistic. Self centered.)
Scripture:
Act 20:21 Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.
What does faith involve and how does it work?
Act 16:30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
Act 16:31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
To know your desperate need, and then to believe that his blood was shed to meet that need, and then to ask him to save you. That will work every time.

answer these questions.
Do you believe in Jesus.
Do you believe that he died on the cross for your sins.
Do you accept him as your savior?
Can you believe that you are saved from your sins, no matter what they are because of His death.
If you believe and ask the Lord to come into your heart and life then you will be saved.
You cant earned salvation by being perfect or doing good deeds all day, you have to ask and believe. Please talk to the Lord and ask him to lead you to the right person to talk with about Him. I promise you the Lord will answer your prayer swiftly.

"If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."
If you have enough faith to believe in Christ and accept the gift He offers you, then you're saved.

If you died right now, are you sure you would be going to Heaven? You may be saying, “I don’t know if I’ve been good enough.” None of us are good enough. That’s why GOD sent a SAVIOUR – JESUS! “HE BECAME SIN FOR US THAT WE MIGHT BE MADE THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOS IN HIM” II Corinthians 5:21 Why don't you say the following prayer? If you mean it with all of your heart, your name will be written in the Book of Life and all the Angels in heaven will rejoice!
HEAVENLY FATHER, I BELIEVE THAT JESUS DIED ON THE CROSS FOR MY SINS. PLEASE FORGIVE ME MY SINS. WITH YOUR HELP, I AM WILLING TO TURN AWAY (REPENT) FROM ALL OF MY SINS. PLEASE COME INTO MY HEART BY YOUR HOLY SPIRIT, AND FORGIVE ME, AND HELP ME. I BELIEVE THAT JESUS ROSE FROM THE DEAD. I SURRENDER MY LIFE TO YOU.
IN JESUS’ NAME. AMEN.
If you mean it, you're good to go. The Holy Spirit will contact you with more information. You will find Him in the Bible verses you start reading.
