Sins are a supernatural concept, thus only a supernatural being can die for them.
Drop this line of thinking and free yourself from the chains that have hold of your mind.

When Adam and Eve disobeyed God they put a barrier between us and God; their sin seperated them and us from God and ruined a perfect world. The Bible says God cannot look upon sin... we are talking about "big" sin such as murder and "little" sin like lying... we have ALL sinned.. and one sin isn't any better/worse than another. Therefore, even though you believe you aren't a bad person, you are still a sinner and the only way to get to Heaven is through the sacrifice Jesus made. So, he did die for your sins..... and although you may not think your sin was worth all the pain he endured, he loved you so much that he thought you were important enough to die for.

You know, I had asked this question so many times, and nobody could ever give me an answer that made sense. I didn't find the answer until just a few months ago...ironically, I actually found the answer in philosophy class.
Until Jesus' death on the cross, the only people subject to the "Obey God and Go To Heaven" Rule were the Jews, the Children of Israel. Up to that point, God as we know him was the Lord of the Jews only.
Jesus' death on the cross was basically the signature on the contract saying that ANYONE, Jew or Gentile, could go to the Christian heaven when they died if they chose to dedicate their lives to following the teachings of the Christian God.
Jesus, as God's son, gave his life as a sign to ALL people that this was what God was offering to the whole world.
It's not that all other religions are wrong, this was basically God just offering open enrollment, so to speak.

It doesn't matter the sin. In God's eyes anything that is wrong is a sin. To Him, a lie is the same as murder. It is all sin.
The Bible says, "For ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of God."
God cannot look at sin - sin cannot be allowed into heaven. When we accept Jesus Christ as our Savior He has forgiven us of our sins and then we can now be accepted into heaven.

Every one is born a sinner and comes short of the Glory of God. That is why Jesus died for our sins. I read your theory with sorrow and pity. How unenlightened you are. Learn about something before you try to take it apart. Regardless of what you may think, I am not judging you.

so your saying you don't sin, I sin thats forsure, I think everyone does. He died and suffered for us, that is how he knows what we are going through because of the atonement, Remember when he said on the cross, Forgive them, for they know not what they do. to the people that killed him. He died for all of us not just for them. we all need a savior.
