Well, I am trying to find a way to drop about 15-20 pounds. I am not fat. I just have a big but and thighs. My stomach is flat. I just flip out when I get on scales and see that I am 148. I am 5'7", so I don't think I'm fat....am I? Anyway, I want to feel sexier and better about myself. I want to go to Curves (I lost weight doing that before) I just don't have anyone to go with me. I don't want to go by myself... What should I do?

Unless you have a thyroid problem, weight loss is as simple as this:

Burn more calories than you consume.
If you not active, 1200-1500 calories are more than enough.
If you are active 2000 calories is about average.

Replace high calorie food items with enjoyable alternative:
If you try to cut out foods rather than replace, you will binge eat when you get really hungry. One example is to eat fruit & vegatables multiple times through the day. This will keep your caloric intake low but you will not be hungry.

Drink more water/less soda:
This helps you too "feel full" when you have not eaten as much.

Take a hike:
Walk somewhere. Use the stairs, park at the back of the parking lot. Walk around the block. 30 minutes of aerobic exercise 3-4 times a week is sufficient to raise most peoples heart rate enough to cause weight loss.

i individually do not consider consuming "breakfast" is main for weight reduction. Eating a work of fruit or a small salad might be a breakfast, and even ingesting water with a banana. in my view, weight reduction is approximately consuming the proper entire meals coupled with a tight quantity of bodily activitiy reminiscent of running or anything extra strenuous.

Go by yourself....you are only there for 30 minutes anyway, and busy the whole time, so you don't really have a chance to talk to your friend anyway. But myself, I don't really like Curves because it is very mundane, I got tired of it after about a month. I'm thinking of joining a gym near me, besides, my mom read in an article that the gym is one of the top 10 places to meet guys. =)
