Reaching "upper dimensions"? "ascension"?

Who knows, but the calendars found in Egyptian pyramids don't go past the year 2012 and also some of the other ancient calendars don't go past this date.

Jose Arguelles says in his book The Mayan Factor, the 5125-year Great Cycle marks Earth’s passage through a “ resonant frequency synchronisation beam”, which will prepare Earth and humanity for an ascension, or evolutionary leap to the next dimension.
Adrian Gilbert and Maurice Cotterell, in their book the Mayan Prophecies, say that the end of the Great Cycle is the culmination of a series of long-term sunspot cycles which will flip the sun’s magnetic field, causing earthquakes and flooding on earth. Moreover, the changing magnetic field will alter the endocrine production of the pineal gland.
Graham Hancock has suggested in his book Fingerprints of the Gods, that an unusual planetary alignment at the end of the Great Cycle will cause a gravitational effect on the crust of the Earth, which is top-heavy with polar ice. The crust will slip, wiping out most of the life on Earth as a result of colossal tidal waves.
On 21/12/2012, the Solstice sun will align with the Dark Rift in the Milky Way, which the Maya called the Mouth of the Crocodile, (or jaguar-toad); the Crocodile Tree being the Milky Way itself.
This is the widest part of the Milky Way, and corresponds to the direction of the centre of the galaxy. As the alignment occurs, the Earth will align with the plane of the galaxy and pass onto the other side,** causing a “ field – effect energy reversal”, allowing us to resonate with the source of the field. This will be the completion of the human spiritual embryogenesis culminating in a “pole shift” in the collective psyche, and the birth of our Higher Selves.

There is nothing going on in 2012 if the church is still on the earth. There is no prophecy going on today because we are living in the age of grace. Call those people who say that they know something is going on in 2012 and see if they will give you their property if they are sure of planetary ascension for after all they will not need it. 1 Thessalonians 4: 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 1 Thessalonians 4: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

The Mayan calendar marks the end of an era, some have interpreted that it means the end of Earth - by a business movement.
Ascension is the melding of body and spirit into one that transpires over the human flesh and allows one to live forever.
Planetary Ascension is the lining up of the planets to allow this melding to all of humans.
The thing is, a person must realize that all life matter is connected to each other. I am a part of you and you are a part of me. If you don't get that, then you can't ascend. Until we all (humans) get that, we can not ascend.

There is not enough space here (nor time nor patience on my part) to explain Earth Crustal Displacement Theory, Pole Shifts, Ice ages and the Mayan calendar. Suffice it to say, 2012 shall be the end - of an era, and the beginning of a new one. Thats all.....
Evidently, the planets are all supposed to line up with a region in the sky that is "dark" - devoid of any stars - this is supposedly where the Mayan afterlife was believed to be.

supposedly, on dec 22, 2012- the earth's axis will tilt 1 or 2 degrees, causing the poles to shift. this, and other events associated with that particular date are supposed to facilitate an influx of enlightenment, and reconnection to the cosmic consciousness in humans.
according to the research of the Mckenna brothers, if you apply a mandelbrot fractal set (an equation that produces an intensly complex, infinite geometrical pattern) to the I'ching (an ancient chinese philosophical text)- it produces a time wave that ends on the exact same date as the mayan calendar. The Mckenna brothers' research suggests that something like 8 (i can't recall the exact number) evolutionary steps, equal to or greater than the development of language will happen in the last 5 or 6 days leading to Dec 22, 2012, and something like 3 or 4 of them will happen in the last hundredth of a second.

Nothing. The whole 2012 was badly misinterpreted by the european cultures that latched onto it. 2012 is simply the end of an era and the beginning of another one. It wasn't a prediction for the end of the world. it was a prediciton of the end of a mesoamerican cycle.

Read the book 11:11 that explains it...it is some kind of Cosmic alignment. You have to have the ability to elevate to a higher conciousness to comprehend.

the end of the Mayan calender is 2012, it doesn't mean anything, as far as planetary Ascension.......... i think you watch too much star-gate sg1
