I guess an important question is how old is your cousin, and where do you want to go with them?

If your parents don't think you or your cousin are mature enough to travel somewhere together then there's really nothing you can say to them that will convience them otherwise reguardless of ages.

traveling with a gril might not be a bad idea actually, you can cook your own food and save money! If you don't mind carrying it around, it would get cumbersome pretty quickly.

Maybe a george foreman gril is a good idea though haha

Who else is going along? Learning to write better will likely cause your parent to believe you are more responsible and be more willing to allow things like that. I know I would. Respect goes a long way. Also, I'm guessing there is way more to this story than you have told.
