Christianity and Judaism differ on the following:
In the meaning of ONE G-d, Heaven, Hell, the devil, Satan, Messiah, Covenant, Commandments, Judgment, Scriptural translations and interpretations, worship, holidays, etc…
The question should be what do they have in common

The fundamental difference between Judaism and Christianity is that Christianity acknowledges Jesus as the Messiah. Judaism has not accepted him as Messiah because of the fact that they would have to deal with the fact that they crucified him. The great Messiah who they were waiting for, they killed because they could not recieve him nor his teachings. Very sad. But the wrongs man has done, God has used to bring the world salvation through Jesus.

Even though Christianity is based on Judaic beliefs, the fundamental difference is that in Judaism, the Jews are still waiting for the Messiah (savior) to come, and Christians believe that Jesus Christ has already come and he has saved us from all our sins, therefore we are born sin free.
Even though, a lot of people like to say that the Jewish people are committing a sin by denying Christ as their savior and the chosen one to liberate the Jews, it is in the bible that because they are the chosen people, they will not be judged by the Grace (period of time after Jesus and everything in the new testament) when Christianity was first started, but they will be judged by the Law (period before Jesus and everything in the old testament).
Another main difference is that Jews believe in God in just one form, and that's just the God that exists in heaven, however Christians believe that God manifests himself in 3 ways, also known as the Holy Trinity, which are God, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, which all constitute one God, but in different forms.

Christianity extends Judaism as it was in the 1st century. By this I mean that Christianity continued with the Judaic understanding that sacrifice was needed in order to maintain a right relationship with God (Jesus died in place of humanity as the Messiah promised to the Jewish people (affecting everyone else too)).
Modern Judaism rejects that Jesus was the Messiah and following the destruction of the Temple in AD 70 developed its theology towards one focusing on moral effort. While there was a place for sacrifice at one time, the need for this has passed as humanity grows up). Now the view is that those who live a good life are rewarded. (There are variations including one that involves blanket mercy without substitution required).
In short, both Christianity and Modern Judaism find their roots in ancient Judaism, both claiming to be the true continuation. One holds to a mercy system balanced through unchanging justice (Christianity) while the other holds to a system either 1) relying on positive moral action or 2) relying on a mercy system with justice changed based on situation (modern Judaism)

1. We both believe in the same God. ( We are the same covenant people)
the fundamental differences though are as such: a) Judaism only recognizes the first 5 books of the Bible which are the books of Moses. b) they do not not believe that Jesus is the Messiah that had been prophesied by Moses. c) they do not believe in the concept of the trinity. d) they believe in the old Jewish tradition of not eating things that are considered foul, ie pigs, shellfish, etc. and all things must be killed according to Jewish law (kosher). There are more, but those are the basics.

Judaism doesn't believe that Jesus was the Messiah. According to Judaism, the Messiah was supposed to be a king of the line of David who would restore peace to Israel, bring the exiles back to the land of Israel, and rule in righteousness. Jesus did none of these things, therefore Judaism does not view him as the Messiah.
Christianity believes that Jesus is the Messiah, the promised Redeemer from the Prophets of the Old Testament. Christianity believes in the saving power of Jesus from eternal death because of sin to eternal life through grace.

Judaism does not believe that Jesus Christ was the messiah. Their differences begin there and extend on. Christianity is based on the idea that Jesus Christ is the promised messiah. So, you can see how there would be many differences.

Christianity believes Jesus Christ was the Son of God, and is the Savior.
Judaism just believes Jesus existed.
Judaism beliefs basically stop with the Old Testament of the Bible. Chrisitians believe in the 4 Gospels of the New Testament.
