If your probs are that serious, the solution is NOT to forget them but rather to RESOLVE them. I have found that problems do not go away by themselves. It takes some effort to deal with them.
And usually life goes on when we take the initiative. What may seem overwhelming may simply be our own confused state of mind at any one given moment.

Problems won't go away unless you resolve them. But if you need a break from it all, then I would suggest keeping your mind occupied.

Go for a walk, lay on the beach, read a good book, write, listen to music, cook, etc.

Do not rely on any kind of substance abuse. Don't drink, don't do drugs, trust me on this one, it will only make you reflect even harder on your issues and not in a good light.

You can't forget your problems but you can try to resolve them, this will help you to cope with them by knowing you did everything you could have to work them out. And who knows you may resolve them completely.

Keep yourself preoccupied. Work and drown yourself with paperwork or reading.

Sometimes when people are alone, thoughts, ideas surface. Then depression sets in.

Go out, watch a movie.

Maybe, you should try takig sometime for a vacation or just time away from everyone in a quiet spot.

go by the beach or the lake in your area. go to a park. ask God to free your mind from your worries. GIVE YOUR CONERNS TO HIM and he will handle everything. problems are TEMPORARY AND WILL PASS. Be patient and good luck

you cant forget problems but you can control problems.how bout getting a hobby or exercising or meeting new friends.
