Well, I don't wear any braces. But, I wish that I can wear braces on my teeth so that my teeth can be straight-but-not-crooked. I would look absolutely smart in braces. I would love to wear braces on my teeth so therefore vicariously if I wear braces even if they hurt or not and that's a fact!

Sure it does, but the end result is great. I had an over bite and wore braces for 2 years. You'll be fine it's worth it!

erm.. the initial stage is quite painful cos there is a constant pull on your teeth to push them together or away from each other.

but after a few days, you teeth gets settle down and it will be okay.

Good luck!

It is only painful everytime you tighten your braces. Other than that, you dun really feel much ;)

Not at all! I have braces and when they put the braces on you just feel pressure on your teeth!! So don't worry it is not bad at all!!

Not usually. The teeth may ache from pressure for a while ,and the appliance may chafe soft tissues but most complaints can be remedied

No it does not. But it takes time to get used to it. Maybe they would feel unconfortable at first. I would recommed you take a couple of Tylenols before going in the dr.'s office.

not when they apply them to ur teeth but take tylonyl before and after ur apointments. about 1 to 2 hours after you get them applied your mouth will start to hurt so stick with soft foods for about two week or longer if u cant chew
