Giving is receiving.

Receiving is giving.

Neither one is better than the other.

When you give, you are receiving. When you are receiving, you are giving.

This is the basis of Life. When you breathe in, you will breathe out. Every cell in your body receives the nutrients it needs and at the same time gives off the consumed nutrients.

It's a cycle. A flowing process. It is when that cycle or that flow is blocked that negativity comes.

It is harder to receive by far, beacause it means being humble and admitting you need help in some form. It takes much more grace to receive than to give.

I say to give, because it makes you feel good and generous. (even if they don't like the gift) Receiving can suck especially when you don't like what you are given, but it is good because it makes the giver feel happy.

Well if it's something good or helpful you should give if you don't need it. If you need something that is helpful or good then you should receive it if you treated that person good. Wow, I confuse myself.

This is kind of a pessimistic twist to the answer.
It is better to give because you do not have to be the one to act like you like it.
But seriously.....It makes me happier to give.

It's better to give because you make someone you love feel special and happy.
