for one i think it will be called 'son of superman' or something similar, what will be his weakness? (he seemed impervious to the kryptonite in superman returns) and what evil plan of lex luther's will he have to fight? anyone know of any websites detailing the next film?

no one will ever ever replace christopher reeve as superman but even if chris was still alive and well and able to do the film he wudnt have anyways, after superman iv flopped he stated he had no interest in making another superman film ever again, also there needs to be sequel because there is so much left unexplained!

there are no details on the next film because there may not be a next film. it was rumored that a sequel will depend on if superman reaches 200 million which it has yet to do. but the director did say he wanted more action and an alien villain. as for me, it wouldn't bother me a bit if they didn't make another onr. i hated superman returns. it was so boring, and didn't give a good franchise restart like batman begins did. it was too much like donner's films. the fact that superman had a son really killed it for me though. it was too ridiculous and had nothing to do with the comics. i know movies stray from the comic which is fine, but this is just doesn't make sense.

I'd really like to see it happen. I went into the movie expecting to be utterly let down and ended up really enjoying the film. I find it hard to believe there is talk of a Fantastic 4 sequel and talk of a Superman sequel not happening. I didn;t care for Fantastic Four.
I doubt it'll happen but I'd love to see Mtzylplk (or however his name is spelled) in a small role in a Superman movie...but that might totally detract from the movie on all levels.

What is going to be any better with this remake except better fx ?As a tribute to Christopher Reeve I think they should of left well alone so we always think of superman as Chris Reeve not some new hollywood hotshot in tight pants and a pretty face.

Plenty of room to manouvre in the next one and lots of moral issues. Maybe the one nighter and we have to forget this by spinning the world on its hinges again thing will happen between super and Lois? Don't think Kevin will continue as Lex though. But then again money is a lovely lining for a purse.

I just saw Superman Returns last night and although it was not as action packed as I thought it would be, I really enjoyed it. I was sure that a sequel will come and I will definately go and watch.
