mostly these fighting dogs are pit bulls. I think this is how pit bulls began their bad rep. their srry *** owners fighting them and making them hateful. I just don't see the point of this crap. I see this on t.v. all the time and it makes me soooooo sick!!!!!!!! many of these people are on drugs or have a drug related rep also. it's an awful problem in our society along with overpopulation. I don't see the meaning of it, it's not funny by any means either, it's bullshit!! why do awful, cruel people do this to poor innocent pit bulls? they fight until the death!!!! they're the reason why nobody trusts that specific type of breed of dog. what do you think? I just want too know! I don't understand it at all!!!!!

Some people are just plain sick. They have no compassion for animals and just want to use them to puff up their own pathetic egos.
It shows a lack of empathy with other species. Animals that are used like this have no chance to find out how much love and care another owner might give them.
I, too, cannot stand this and it tears up my heart when I hear of this happening. Our animal cruelty laws need strengthening. And more people who are aware of situations like this should be encouraged to come forward (anonymously, if necessary) to help put a stop to it. If people weren't afraid of repercussions, I think more people would turn in people who do this!!

Unfortunately there are a lot of ignorant and mean people in this world. Breeding and fighting pit bulls has become a status symbol and some sort of sick indicator of masculinity. They have zero feeling for the health and well being of the dogs. The saddest thing is when they use some dogs as "bait" dogs to train the fighters on....the poor things!

O ye of little knowledge. Not much to be said here. Read the history of the APBT. Gameness is what makes this breed, without it you end up with AMSTAFF-show dogs- PETbulls etc. IT is rare for a match to end in death. True dogmen test the dog for it`s gameness and few dogs are truly game . Amateurs do fight dogs without knowing what they are doing and for the wrong reasons. An honest APBT would rather fight than anything else.

Listen, the world is a ****** up place. The other day I had to tell off some bastard who wanted to buy my roosters so he could fight them. Dog fight or cockfight, the whole thing is just evil!! Those animals wind up so miserable. It makes me sad that people do this for money and sick enjoyment.
