Also, some women move their wedding band on their left hand from the ring finger to the middle finger. What does this mean?
Is she available? Married? Seperated? Widow? Gay? Is it meant to keep people from approaching her?

My grandma did that when grandpa died. She said it was because she still loved him, but legally wasn't married anymore, since he'd passed away. Later she took the wedding band and had it melted into a different band with a stone that she would wear on her ring finger of her right hand. Seems expensive, but she was ready to move on and she started dating again, so she didn't want to wear a wedding band (that would scare people off) and she didn't want to take it off completely. I don't know if that's a common thing or if it was just the way things made sense in her head...interesting question though.

These days, a ring on the middle finger of the right hand means nothing. Actually, I don't think it has ever meant anything when it is on the middle finger. It used to be tradition for the engagement ring to be on one hand and the wedding ring on the other (the ring finger in both cases). These days, both rings are put on the left hand, ring finger.

A ring on the right hand middle finger doesn't mean anything. Most women have many pieces of jewelry and it's just a place to wear another ring.

Gold band on right hand middle finger means she liked the band and wanted to wear it on her middle finger.

Wedding band moved to middle finger means it's too big for her ring finger.

It might not mean anything. Not all subcultures use what you think is the traditional ring finger. Or maybe she gained or lost weight and the ring fits better on another finger.

Maybe it means that the ring was too big for her ring finger :)

Usually it's just decoration. Like wearing a ring on the thumb.
But ask her. It's that simple. Then you'll know.
