ok i want to have a serious relationship with somone one but its my friends person she used to like but i don know if he has a girlfriend what should i do

First, talk to your friend. Otherwise you'd be breaking the girlfriend "code". That is if you care at all about her feelings and still want her as a friend. If she is cool with it then ask him if he is seeing anyone..if not, go for it.

I belive if your friend dosent have any feelings for this guy you like you should go for it. But if your friend dose still have feelings for this guy back off because being inconsiderate can ruion you and your friends friendship and that would be stupid because it would be over some guy. But if thats not the case go for it. First ask the guy if he has a girlfriend and if says no ask him if he's "talking to someone". If you didn't know there's a huge difference when having a relationship and talking to someone. Anyways, I know your not stupid because that's a no brainer. Take my advise! oh and if he says none of the above ask him if he's interested in having a girlfriend and if he says yes let him know that you like him a lot and what does he think/feel about you and then go from there. You get the picture!

If you don't want to have problems between your friend and you, ask her first if it would bother her at all. If you sense even the smallest hesitation, there's a good chance it will bother her at some time, if not right away. Then you'd need to make a choice - between your friend and this potential relationship.
As to whether he has a girlfriend or not, I guess you could ask him. I don't know how else you'd find out.

Pull him aside one day and ask him what his status is. If he says he's got a girl then say you were asking for someone else. If he's free then you know what to do next.

Pray about it. Then ask hem. Thank about it this way. If you don't ask and latter you fine out he DID NOT have some you one you will be hard that you did ASK HEM

ask around to see if he has a boyfriend.if he doesnt,talk to ur friend about it.if she doesnt like him anymore,or she says its ok and u should go for it,then go for it.i hope it works out for u.and thumbs up for ur confidence.
