Gross!!! Yes there is a "worm" that does this. The kittnes had to have been outside!! It is a Cuterebra. The vet needs to remove it. Or you can let it mautre and it will eventually fall out. Pretty sick. But do not try and remove it on your own. If you kill it, it can cause a anaphylactic reaction in the kittens.
Pretty sick. Keep kittens inside.
DO NOT REMOVE IT YOURSELF WITH TWEEZERS!!!! You can cause the reaction and the kittens can die!!!! Just get one to a vet and see what the heck it is!!!!
It is very easy for the vet to remove it. The kittens recover and do just fine!

Yes it is probably a worm. You will either have to remove it yourself by using tweezers and some kind of antiseptic and then treat the wound with anti-biotic ointment. I had to do this to a stray kitten once. If you feel you cannot do this yourself then get the kittens to a vet. Usually this happens during extreme hot weather. And yes it is a worm similar to what squirrels get. Also a good way to clean the wound is with Peroxide. I use it regulary to clean wounds.

My cat has had the same thing before. We put some special medicine on it (the vet gave it to us) but it really is no big deal. It will go away in about a week or two and the hair will go back.
The only advice I can give you is don't let the cats scratch where the infection is.
Oh, and I don't think your other cats will get it, cause when mine had it, my other kitties never got it. They should be fine.

Take them to your vet if you want to protect your other cats. This could be an infection or something else. Your vet needs to examine your kittens to determine what is wrong.

Take them to the vet. The vet will remove what ever worms they have and hopefully they will be fine.

1) put them in a cat carrier or box.
2) put cat carrier in car.
3) drive car to vet
4) ask someone who KNOWS!
First of all, we can't see the kittens from here. Second of all, most of us are just lay people who know situations that have happened to our own animals and have no real training in anything relevant to cats and their diseases.

Obviously, if you were a responsible pet owner, you would take them to the vet for proper care, because, obviously this isn't normal. Why jeopardize their lives?
