Because I see a wisdom in the Cosmos, an ultimate form of goodness.
You won't find 'God' in the bible, however. You'll only find old fables created by ignorant men.

Because I realized that the amazing amount of diversity on this planet would be practically impossible to see occur by accident. the placement of the Earth around the sun, the way the moon interacts with the Earth, the diversity of plant life and animal life. I just can't believe that it was all some roll of the cosmic dice. Before you get to up in my face about this, you've got to realize that Einstein, and several other reputable scientists recognize the existence of an intelligent force bigger than us.
It also gives me a direction and focus to my life that I don't see very often in those who claim no theology whatsoever.

I believe in God because He first loved me. I am drawn to Him and He is the one in my life who never abandons. He is a presence I can sense even though He is invisible. He is real and I love Him.

it's nice to think of a benevolent someone who will receive us when we die.
Do I believe in miracles? No
Do I believe that God interferes in our lives? No
Do I believe that there is a Heaven/Hell ? Hell no
I just believe that when we die, our souls somehow find Him/Her/It.
