Thru reserch and study, Christianity was not the end all to be all religion. In fact Pagenisim, is older and can be traced much further back thru history, people were FORCED to give up the old religion with the invention of Chrisitanity.

YES christianity was invented, and most of the world today follows it blindly becuase they have been told too. I jumped off that bandwagon and did study on my own to chose the right path for me

The world would probably still be pagan, and humans would have colonized the galaxy by now.

Was Christian ever invented? Was I ever been forced?

Allow me to tell you something. Yes in history, there is a period of time where people who did not understand did force others to convert. What does it end up? Those so call converted Christian kill steal and destory. Those were Crusaders.

Olders religion, yes, they are older than Christian. When? When Cain, son of Adam choose to break away from the relation with God, setting up his own religion of using fruits to worship.

You are right in history.

For the sin of man, son of God need to die, and thus the believers were also called mini-Christ, soon to be called Christian. It is far more later than all other religion.

Invented? No. Plan by God? Yes, when Even sin.

The world would be in much better condition if people rejected all the different flavours of irrational and primitive beliefs. In a world governed by reason and science, we might have taken action in time to prevent the environmental crisis that is just now beginning to slide human civilization towards the abyss.

What will people say about all this a hundred years from now? Not much, as at least 80% of humanity will probably not even be alive by then.

If Jesus had never come to earth and started His church, there would be no means of having our sins forgiven. Right there, that's enough to make me thankful.

Also, countless colleges and hospitals were started by those who were trying to follow the Bible. (To those atheists out there- what good have atheists done for the world?)

Don't forget: Christians never forced (at swordpoint) anybody to give up another religion; those who claimed to be Christians did. Those people were not following Christ's example. Christians try to convert people with words, not violence.

No, people weren't forced to give up anything (Crusades and Inquisition aside)...They made a choice to buy into Christianity. FYI Judaism has been around longer than Christianity also and because many, many Jews didn't disgard their faith clearly indicates something wrong with the Christian message.

To the rest of your stuff...The world would be better off with out religion period. PEACE!

Well for one - Christianity was never "invented". The followers of Christ joined and spread the good news and people started listening. Others called them Christians first in Antioch. Christians never called themselves that. And no one has been "FORCED" to give up any religion to become Christians.

I think the way Christianity has treated Paganism throughout history (including today) has been an abomination. It's the attitude of "my God's better than your God" that has caused many, many problems. The need to proselytize has been horrific for many indigenous cultures and continues today.

I'm not convinced that Christianity ever was truly embraced. Yes, the title "Christian" was used. But, I can't see substance everywhere the title is displayed.

Mankind would be extinct and giant carnivorous ducks would roam the earth. Also, super intelligent satan worshiping tortises would be building moon colonies.
