unfortunatly you can't just dial like you would on a commercial line in the states. here is what i finally found out. you have to dial a state side DSN number and ask to be connected to a commercial # or there isanother DSN number you can call that will patch you streight through to a commercial line.

Just punch the number on the phone.

Dial the operator at a military base near where you are trying to call and ask them to patch you to a civilian line.

hahaha. I don't think I've ever had a conversation with the wrong numbered person. Usually, it'll end with "sorry! bye." & then the person will laugh and say "it's okay, bye." & if it's a prank call, which I suck at, they always say "is this a prank?"
