Trust me, the whole world wants to know how...

But here are a few things you could try:

1) Uninstall all the unnecessary appz, which you do not use.

2) Go on Start>Programs>Startup see if there is something which you've never heard of, delete it.

3) Go on Start> Run and type 'msconfig', go on the startup tab.
Uncheck all the items which you feel are unnecessary, 'disable all' also works, but might cause some important startup programs not to function.

This helps to an extent...

your configuration is enough to run Windows xp faster. but you need to Reinstall Windows XP or if you don't want you should find out that unecessary program which uses your RAM.

When you install Windows xp disable unecessary services

goto Control panel -> Administrative Tools -> Services

Disable Startup programs with msconfig utility

Start -> Run -> msconfig

if you want to boot your computer in 1 munute use hibernation
use this
When you Click Turn Off Computer you will see three options

Stand-By Turn-Off Restart

when it comes press shift key

the Stand-By button will be converted in Hibernate

Press the button & wait while progress finishes.
when you start next time boot screen will not be displayed.

if this(Hibernation) doesn't work reduce your RAM to 512 GB then test it again.

To reduce RAM use msconfig don't physically reduce.

Sure this will work

Go to>start>run> then type"msconfig"
then it would give you the startup programs that will be started during your system booting(starting)so you uncheck the programs that you dont require at the start up and then boot again to get your xp start faster.
caution:dont uncheck all since some programs must be started at the time of booting uncheck only those you dont want them to boot at first after the start up you can start these programs by double clickingok?got it?
have a nice day!

delete icons on your desktop you don't need, stop background programs from starting up (start, run, type msconfig, press okay, then go to start up, and uncheck every thing you dont need. keep anti virus, firewall, anti spyware, ect, checked. delete fonts you dont need. windows has to load all the fonts upon boot up. hope that helps!

You can't.

You live with what you have, or you upgrade your processor.
