I own a flooring business, and the way people act is blowing my mind. I do not make the carpet in my warehouse, but they think I do. We sold a droped product and the sales rep for that product told me to go **** myself, why is that its your responsibility to make sure the rack is up to date. Now that is my fault. People always want things THEIR way and want it right now. Look at what happening overseas.....Do you think they get it their way?? NO!!!! I just dont understand the way people are thinking now.. You would think that 911 would make people realize the severity of the situation. Nope it has made it worse.. People gripe about everything. Nothing pleases, nothing makes them happy.. Everybody is rude, and just out for themselves... Look around we have it easy. Move overseas and then lets see. WAKE UP!!!!

I am so sorry that you had to be confronted with someone who was so unloving. Perhaps even in this situation you were able to learn something. Think about this for a moment - to better your business and make your company TOP OF THE LINE , if you HAD known that the carpet you sold was no longer being made - how much more honor and respect would you have received? A glowing report for you and your people had you been able to tell your customer - I really would like you to have this piece of carpet however, I have learned that they do not make this anymore and if I sell it to you - you would not be able to get more. Respect - a vision of your business, research undeniable, all kinds of good things would have been flowing your way. I am not saying he was wrong for 'cursing you', but you have to learn to get a thick skin. People today are not patient, they are not kind, they are unloving and it is because old satan has reared his ugly head and he is always on his job. STEAL, KILL AND DESTROY. That means, kill, steal ones' spirit and life as well as his physical life. Don't murmur and complain. Turn this thing around - YOU smile, you laugh, you show love to your customers and others in general, NO MATTER WHAT THEY SAY AND DO TO YOU. Yes, I know, it can be difficult - but remember that the tongue is the most evil instrument of our bodies - because what we say - we become. You don't have to be 'everybody' - you don't have to be rude, you don't have to respond in a negative way - you take control of this situation and turn it around for your benefit and God will give you grace and mercy and peace with your decision to do good. That's what love is about - giving people what they don't deserve. The man who cursed you out - he might have gotten some pleasure and off his chest to curse you - but he didn't win unless you cursed him back. Smiling in his face and expressing how sorry you are that you were not aware of the change, and offering him WHATEVER you needed to - to make him a happy camper - would have gone more than a long way. I'll bet he might have even returned to apologize to you - that's giving him what he didn't deserve - that's what Jesus did when he went to the cross for me - he gave me what I didn't deserve and he has told me that I must go and do the same thing - do good to those who dispitefully use you and persecute you, forgive those who treat you badly, pray for those who are weak and don't know how they should talk to you, treat you - there is always a positive counter act to someone's negative. YOU be the positive. Know all parts of your business - be prepared for the sticklers like this and have something ready to give away to help smoothe over the 'battle' so YOU can win the war. I can see where you are coming from I think in these times the clock is turning aginst us God is the only place you can find the peace of mind an patients to cope with these type people they are lost in thier own selfish desires to please themselves I cant understand why everyone is so unshaken by what has become of society these days this countries is full of hard desensatized mean fools who need christ.
