who thinks my parents are being unfair?i mean,theyre making me do algebra IN THE SUMMER!it totally sucks!arent i supposed to be on break?

Yes you're right, that does totally suck. My mom never let me take a break from my studies even on vacations and I really hated her for it. I thought that Algebra and Geometry were the worst things that have ever happened to me, but then I looked at my friends that had never done any algebra or gotten a decent education. Now I think that no matter how bad doing algebra is, it's not nearly as bad as being the dumbest in the group or not having any good career options. I still hate algebra, but I love my job and I wouldn't have gotten it without my education.

Everything you hate about your parents pushing you academically you will respect 10 years from now. When you have a nice home and new car, you'll think lovingly back to those two people who made you take Algebra in the summer.

Maybe they are just trying to prepare you for the new school year. Its better to get an understanding of it now and practice it a bit then to go to school and struggle with it. If your parents didnt love you and want you to do well then they wouldnt make you do it. So.. go give them a hug. But yeah, I could see how sucky it would be to do during the summer. Sucky, but not unfair.

you can have plenty of breaks after you finish your education and stop eating their food, I make my children attend summer school 6 hours a day in july and august... Education is the key to your future. Thank them.
