when you drink water it dissolves the alcohol and then reactivates the booze, therefore you can feel drunk again - even a day later. Is this true?

I have not heard that happening with red wine, my husband once drank nearly a bottle of snaps and got up the next morning fine, until he drank a glass of water ,then he was out for the next two days. I would not recommend doing it. IT plays havoc with your liver and other things.

Well, I never feel drunk again after just drinking water, only more wine.

since wine is about 98% water the only way to 'crystallize' it would be to freeze your stomach...
