Look it up...if you found the IQ test (and it probably gives you some guidelines with your results) online, you can find the significance of your results, as well!

I think someone is fishing for a compliment.....

it's above average, I believe, I don't know for sure, but my IQ is something like 132 (or it was in first grade, I haven't found a place to update that) and on the test feedback it said I scored above 99.9% of all others taking the test (I think in all of America?) which would mean I have the highest IQ of anyone my age, but I'm not sure. I bet it was just in my class or something, but who knows? anyhow, 126 is probably pretty good.

that is pretty good but the free online IQ tests are very inaccurate...

I think with an IQ of over 125, you're in the top 5% of the world, and over 150 is officially "Genius".

However, it is possible to practice for IQ tests so there are few that are definitively accurate.

It could be. Those online tests aren't always accurate, though. Your IQ could be higher, it could be lower, or the test could be dead on. You need a better test administered in a controlled setting to find out for sure. A psychologist could do this for you, or you can find the local Mensa chapter and take their test. They do this periodically, I'm told.

The more important thing is, what will you do with this intellect if the test is accurate? It seems to me that it will be wasted if you just sit home and use it to grow turnips. Aim high, work hard, achieve much!

the common IQ is between ninety and 100 and ten. So, 126 or 132 are sturdy. for my area, i have taken 2 IQ checks. in the course of the first one, i develop into intense on marijuana, and were given 118. the second one attempt I took sober, and that i scored 127. To qualify for Mensa - club in Mensa is open to persons who've attained a score in the better 2 % of the overall inhabitants on a approved intelligence attempt that has been properly administered and supervised. there is not any different qualification or disqualification for club eligibility. The time period "IQ score" is widely used yet poorly defined. There are a tremendous variety of checks with diverse scales. the outcome on one attempt of 132 ought to correctly be an identical as a score 148 on yet another attempt. some intelligence checks do not use IQ rankings in any respect. Mensa has set a percentile as cutoff to maintain away from this confusion. applicants for club in Mensa ought to learn a score at or above the 98th percentile on a common attempt of intelligence (a score it really is larger than or equivalent to that done with suggestions from ninety 8 % of the overall inhabitants taking the attempt). commonly, there are 2 techniques to educate that you qualify for Mensa: both take the Mensa attempt, or submit a qualifying attempt score from yet another attempt. There are a tremendous variety of intelligence checks that are "approved". better ideas on even if a attempt you've taken is approved, besides as ideas on the technique for taking the Mensa attempt, ought to correctly be gained from the nearest Mensa workplace. There aren't any on-line checks that ought to correctly be used for admission to Mensa. be happy to the contact Mensa for particular information about eligibility. Mensa has no different eligibility criteria except IQ sorting out. even if, many checks aren't any further valid for persons lower than the age of 16. you need to the contact the nearest Mensa workplace for better ideas.

It's good. 120 is the minimum needed to do well in college.

Remember, someone with a lower IQ who is curious, works hard, and keeps at it, will do better than someone with a higher IQ who isn't/doesn't.

IQ tests are biased , so they're not really a great way of measuring intelligence.
