No, I don't think I have, but it would make me very proudly impressed. In Catholic school, I saw them around the school's halls a lot.

The 10 Commandments & The Golden Rule should b displayed.

WELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLl, I guess I could be proud that at least the Word of God has a place in the "world" however, I would discourage the commitment to it completely and totally since our Lord has advised us that there is a a 'NEW commandment that HE has given us which rests in the New Testament - the time in which Jesus came to fulfill. That commandment is to love one another as HE has loved us (through his life, death and resurrection and taking away our sins) We are to love others as He loves us - He sees no wrong in us because our spirits are reborn and it's the inside that He sees and witnesses to His Father in Heaven on our behalf. The commandments of the Old Testament served a specific purpose - for the Jews in their quest for family and community building. Even they could not live those commandments which made it even more important that Jesus should come (as was prophesised) to FULFILL the commandments - and they all wrap up to ONE - If we love one another and see one another as JESUS sees us - we would not commit adultery, covet our neighbor, kill, steal, etc. etc. LOVE AND THE BLOOD OF JESUS COVERS ALL SIN.

I have never seen them. Although I have seen those Fun Christian billboards like. "What part of "THOU SHALT NOT" Do you not understand" and "That love thy neighbor thing... I meant it" both are signed -God. I think they are great. Billboards are Private Property and available for anyone who wants to advertise. If you would like to advertise the Ten Commandments well that is just Great. That is what makes America such a Great country. God Bless You.

I haven't seen them.

First of all the Ten commandments are like a chain, can you picture it?
They are linked together and they are perfect.
If you break one of the links, then you broke the chain.
Is there any one of us that never breaks one of them?
NO!
I for one am happy for Grace and not LAW.
No one could pass the Law, that is why it was given. To show us that we couldn't do it on our own.
We needed help.
Perfect law kept by imperfect people, NO way!
And so Jesus came, for what?
A better way, just believe in Him and that is it.
Simple.
It is the religions that made it hard. You got to do this you shouldn't do that. You have to listen to me.
You got to be here three times a week.
What you do have to do is believe He did it for you personally.
The magic of Faith. The key to the door.
The passport to heaven.

Consider:
Two covenants.
The Law and Grace.
I prefer Grace.
I don't have to work for it.
I don't have to pay it back.
It's great.
It's free too.

Apparently you have problems with some or all of the 10 commandments. Which ones offend you the most and why? Would you mind if someone stole your car or killed one of your children? I find nothing offensive about the 10 commandments. Maybe you don't desire to become a Christian, but why wouldn't you want to live in a safer and more desirable world with no crime in it?

Stuff like that just makes me shake my head and laugh. Do the people who put those billboards up actually think they will convert people? What's the point of them other than to act as a form of tagging?

No, I would feel more proud if people would live by them.
It saddens me to see people having to advertise what is right, because our culture is so prideful and self centered.
By the way Jesus did not negate the Old Testament Law. His words where "I did not come to negate the law but to fulfill the law."
He actually made the Law stronger because it is no longer just an outward thing but now it is an inward thing.

Yes it makes me proud. The ten commandments are to be followed for our good, so that we don't fall into sin. It also makes for a better society. People who follow them are more honest and trustworthy.

No. It makes me tremble.
For if I have broken one commandment, I have broken them all.
It seems everyday I break commandments and need forgiveness.
Then it takes me to the place where I see that I need a Savior and that brings me to Jesus and what the Father sent Him to earth to do for me. I usually dont commit many outward sins. It is usually judging someone, comparing myself to someone and thinking higher of myself than I ought. Hating someone who disagrees with me......hating someone who wont give me my way
.....not believing I am blessed........
