Diarrhea, vomiting and not eating or drinking is extremely serious and life threatening. Dehydration is a killer and you must take your cat back to the vet immediately. Request your vet give the cat subcutaneous fluids under the skin. That alone can save your cat's life. The fluids will not only help to hydrate him, but may give him the strength to try fighting whatever is ailing him on his own. Cats don't know how to be sick and take care of their health...their instincts tell them to lay low and hide from predators. It's a of vicious cycle because failing to eat & drink just exacerbate the sickness. If your vet does not treat your cat's condition and symptoms as a medical emergency, it's time to find a new veterinarian. DEMAND the fluids, please, for your cat's life depends on it. Good luck and keep us posted on his condition.

If what your vet told you is not working, try taking him to a different vet, this sounds like a serious problem. I'm sure your kitty is also having severe discomfort in this condition. Please take him to another vet, and if the vet does not know what the problem is, ask her to recommend a cat specialist to you. I am really worried about you cat for you, because I know that once you have a pet, they are the most precious thing in your life. I have two cats, and when they went to get neutered, I was so sad just to see how much pain they were in when they came back home. Good luck with your cat, I really hope he gets better.

I would definitely get him back into the vet. The bloody diarrhea is a huge concern -- and he may need some IV fluids, if he's not eating or drinking. Let the vet be the one to tell you what is wrong.

Call the vet and tell him/her that you are bringing your cat back in because something is wrong. Not eating may not be that big of a deal for a day or two (diminished appetite may be a side effect of the medication - check the info. packet) but not drinking anything is definitely problematic.

TAKE IT BACK TO THE VET. That sounds really back and needs treatment. Be sure you tell the vet about any changes in condition since meds and everything. Remember details!

Sounds like someone might have poisoned him. Cat's can survive for a while without food (like people), but if he refuses to drink for much longer, you'll need to take him to the vet and get an infusion.

Yeah I have an idea...take it back to the vet before it dies!!!!! I really don't get you people. Everyday someone posts a question on yahoo about something really wrong with their pets. You people should be taking them for medical help, NOT posting questions on the computer! You people don't deserve to own pets!!!!
Nightsky...mind ur own business. Nobody asked for your opinion!!!!
I meant in regards to my answer.. u...........!
