It is infected and I went to the doctor who put me on topical antibiotics and oral antibiotics but I am still having pain spasms and my lymph nodes are swllen. It is quite painful but they say it is normal, I dont feel so normal, any thoughts???

Sadly it's not going to grow back. Us humans unfortunately do not have the ability to re-grow body parts (or chunks of) of any type. That would be wonderful if we could though! If it's bothering you enough then, once it's healed up, go to a plastic surgeon. They may be able to do some work on it so that it can at least look somewhat normal. Also, swollen lymph nodes are normal w/ an infection cause they are tied into your immune system...make sure to stay on all the antibiotics that your doctor prescribed. If you do not notice any type of difference after a large amount of time then go back to the doctor. You could be immune to the antibiotics cause that is becoming more common. You could just be immune to any medicine in pill form too....my boyfriend is that way.
