Most stay on for 5 years. I would check with the DMV there and find out for sure. The link below might help:

It will always be there on your driving record, thats why they call it a Record. With Insurance, it will be at least 3 years before your fees go back to normal. With some companies, it could be 5 years. Check out Progressive for Auto Insurance, they won't jack up your premiums too bad.

Sorry, but I think it's seven years. I can't remember if that's for insurance purposes or for the State's purposes.
