Dec. 19 ,04 My fourteen year old son lost half of his sight do to sudo tumors, he now with the scaring has a 20/80 eye sight, this has changed not only his whole life but our families as well. He is any treatments out their or herbs, meds to bring back his sight? With this lost of sight is he now diabled?

Since it probably damaged his optic nerve, I wouldn't think it would be reversible. There are optometrists that specialize in low vision devices to help people better cope. Try to find out from your doctors who might be closest in your area. If there is an optometry school close they should have low vision programs and cheaper prices.
