No he can't get sued, but you have to look at it like this he can do things you can't do. Like go to 18 and up spots and holler at other females or what ever he wants and you wouldn't know about it. You have a curfew state law he doesn't. He said he's a nice guy so maybe you wouldn't have to worry about him going to clubs and such. Keep up the abstinence sex in high school was a waste of time, College it became a necessity so anyways no he can't get sued, simply because nothing sexual is going on. Otherwise you ahve to wait till your 16

Let's see, can he get into trouble for dating you... no... Can he get in trouble for sleeping with you, or any variation of the sexual act, or heavy petting, or ANY form of SEXUAL contact... yes... he probably could (this depends on the state in which you live).

Now most states you should be OK, once you hit 16 which... i don't know how long that is but it is somthing to consider. Bravo by the way for considering this. Check your local laws, and find out, your parents can't sue him.

Good luck.

this is dependant on how far you are going and what state you live in. the consenting age is different by state, and the necessary age difference is also different. an example is VA: consenting age is 15, w/3 years age difference. therefore, a 15 yr old could be with an 18 yr old in VA, but not a 19 yr. old. You should research it online (you can find anything using google) and find out.

best of luck, make smart choices!

If you guys decide to have sex, and let's say you guys break up, it can be considered statutory rape.

I don't know what state you're from but, New York State penal law states that if you're 14 and you're dating an 18 yr-old, it's considered statutory rape.

Believe it or not, I went through the same thing 2 years ago. Don't worry, nothing bad is going to happen to you.

Age of consent is 17. That means you have 2 more years until your parents can't press charges for statuatory rape, or sexual harrassment of a minor. Just because you haven't had sex yet really doesn't mean much. I would try being honest with your parents because what will really tick them off is not telling them that you're dating this guy.

If your parents want to push the issue, he could possibly get into trouble. The bigger question is why are you trying to hide this from your parents? Maybe they might like him. Talk to your parents about this guy and arrange to have them meet him. You may be able to negotiate a way to see him (only at your house during certain hours, only a movie date, with a curfew, etc.).

yes he can if anything happens between you. If you are doing anything other than hanging out be careful because it can be considered contributing. For eample smoking, porno and so on. Anything that is legal for him at 18 and not for you can get him in trouble. Sex was without a doubt get him busted. Be really careful.

Sooner or later he's going to want more than just being "nice"...or you will and then that's a whole different ball game, honey. YES he can get in bigtime trouble dating jail-bait like you. Do him a favor, and leave him alone.

Yes he can go to jail. It is illegal for a adult, which is the age of 18 and up, to have a relationship with a minor.
