well its honor,courage,and commitment to support and defend the constitution of the United States against all ENEMIES Foreign and Domestic.The marines are the only branch of the military forces that recruits people specifically to fight. You arrive as a recruit,private or worse. you earn the right to become a Marine. You dont just join them. Its not like your in the army, navy or air force. You become a marine if you have the right stuff.Marines make Marines the Highest level of training and success. Gung Ho, Marines win battles they are won at costs. People spend a lifetime wondering if they made a difference; a Marine doesn't have that problem. The lord does the forgiving . Its the Marines job to arrange the meeting. So please think about what you say about the marines or any military personnel fighting for your freedom with their life on the line. Why make this dumb statement anyway?semper fi

I don't know what Marines you have met or known, but 99.9% of those kids hold all those values close to thier heart.
I was in the navy and had the fortunate chance to work side-by-side with those jarheads. They are a brotherhood. They are honor-bound. They are the blood, sweat, and tears of the military. I am honored to have known many of them and to be accepted into thier fold.

thats bull crap. all those stupid news stations show are those retards that mess up and give everyone a bad name. 99.9% of the armed forces are good people, who keep honor above everything else. lets see you go out in the field.

Why does every one in answers live in absolutes? I know a few...and they are definately such...it's more likely that some marines are giving the rest a bad name...

My husband is a Marine and he does have it.They all do. Marines are their own breed! Are u a Marine? Probley not...If you are i'm sure your a nasty...Why do so many people on her insist on bashing the Marines.....OOOHHH, b/c they are cowards that couldn't cut it as a Marine.
