Depends upon the severity of the parole violation and how long you had remaining on parole. Each state and country have different criteria, all I can suggest is go on-line and try to find out the laws where you are. I know, here in Canada, you go back for at least 1/3 of your remaining sentence with a mandatory release at 2/3rds unless you are deemed a threat , then you finish your original sentence.

Depending on the violation. If it is a technical violation (hot urine, not reporting to parole officer, etc.) not much. Usually 30-90 days. A direct violation ( new charge) could be all of your back time and street time! You may even be re-sentenced.

The sentence is usually for the remainder of the sentence. (for instance, you are usually paroled after 10 years if your original sentence was for 10-20 years. If you get re-arrested, you usually have to serve out the original full sentence)
This is not always the case - sometimes you have to just serve a few more years depending on the severity of the crime.

he will be held for the parole violation pending the end results of the recent expenses, be remanded for the length of the time on his unique sentence, and if convicted, and be sentenced and serve time on the recent expenses. do no longer make any plans that include him for the subsequent 3 to 5 years.
