i think sometimes they feel awkward because it takes alot longer and alot more effort for them to have one than it does for men.
sometimes they get bored of waiting while the man fiddles about doing it wrong and can't be bothered any more.
male egos are very delicate (yes they are!) and men don't like to think they're not great at sex so sometimes its just to save their feelings.
my boyfriend's great at it and I never fake it with him because i know him well enough to tell him what i want and if i've had enough
totally agree with Lynn D, sometimes men just will not stop until you have one, even though you know you're not going to they just carry on and on

I felt i had to fake it with my ex a while back b/c I was getting tired and wanted the sex to be over, lol! That's the truth. I mean I enjoyed the sex even if I didn't have a big "O" (which a lot of women do not experience), but he wanted to keep going until I did have one and sometimes, I had to work the next day and get some sleep, haha!

Sometimes its just not gonna happen and guys tend to think if a woman doesn't orgasm that she didn't enjoy herself or it wasn't good. Most of the time I will just tell the guy but there has been a time or two that I just didn't feel like I could and I was ready for it to be over so I faked it so he would go ahead and get his and be done. Its not that I wasn't enjoying myself or anything else just that I had way to many things on my mind and couldn't let my mind free and it was holding me up.

In a meaningful relationship you would expect that the couple could talk to each other and tell them what they like. Sometimes they just don't feel in the right mood so as not to make their bloke feel incompetent they fake it.
Or if its a fling then the bloke may just be crap and she wants it over quickly to fakes it....
I don't have the problem as my fella is fantastic and I orgasm every time, multiple orgasms sometimes!!!!!

Women fake it for a variety of reasons, and sometimes it works out well for all involved. Sometimes it's to boost the guy's ego, and other times it's because she just wants to move on. Sometimes I'll be with my gf and I'll actually begin to wish that she WOULD fake it just so we could be done and move on! So it's not always a bad thing....

I won't fake it because if it's not good, but I pretend it is then I'm going to get the same lousy sex. If you let them know they aren't getting the job done then they will try harder! But I say, "If you want the job done right, do it yourself!!!!"

They fake it cause they dont' want to hurt their guys feelings. Thank god I don't have to fake it or talk to my hubby. He seems able to do it all without having to.
