I am a 36 year old guy and have a very good relationship with a girl 11 years younger than me. It is working out very good. She too is very mature, intelligent and a wonderful person. Age is after all just a number. If they get along very well, why not hey? Tell her to go ahead an date, if it doesn't work out what does she have to lose in any case ?

Its just dating. Why not? Even if it did turn into something more, it seems to be the thing this day and time. The aging process has slowed up with all the readily available products/surgery. My husband is 4 years younger than me. And the sweet thing is, when someone asks his age, they naturally assume I am younger than him. LOL Its like turning back the hands of time, and I get to be anywhere from 5-10 years younger, and I like that.:) If two people connect, and they are mentally set that the age thing is just a number, it can work. It does work. Tell her "try it, she may like it"!

I may not be 35 years old, but I'm old enough to know that age doesn't matter after the person in question is 18. Then it just becomes a choice of whether or not the two want to get together.

I've dated guys 9 & 10 years younger than myself & while it was enjoyable & they did seem mature for their age - in the end they really weren't as mature as they seemed. Every situation is different, tho.

Depends on the people involved. If he's mature for his age, then why not? I don't think age is the most important factor in a relationship. It's how well two people get along.
The age difference doesn't matter if the two people involved don't think it does. And who cares, anyhow, about how others think???

Oh yes! An older guy with a pretty young thing on his arm? Hell Yeah!!
How old is your "best friend"? If she's only 35, then the guy is only 24 and likely to wear her out in bed ... she's one lucky lady! How about you? You into older guys? (In my dreams I guess!)

If that means the guy is 35 and the girl is 24...no...
If that means the guy is 47 and the woman is 36 ... yes...
Notice: twenty something GIRL
Thirty/Forty something WOMAN

explain to me please, what does age have to do with it? i'm 44 and i think "your friend" is discremenating, as age has nothing to do with love. look at anna nichole smith, she married an 81 yr old man and got millions for doing it and there was almost 60 yrs difference between them, and i'll be willing to bet the old man died happy
