I came from my parents. When I die, I won't go anywhere. I will simply cease to exist.

I believe that I came from my mother's womb, just like you. I believe that a force we have not yet begun to understand created the beginnings of life, but this force is not humanoid, and doesn't care what I eat for lunch.
When I die, and when you die, bacteria and small animals will decompose my body and the elements that I am made of will become part of something else.
I have always considered it very pretentious to consider your life so very important that a supreme being would care about your lunch and your friend having cancer.
I don't think that my life has any meaning, and I do believe that everyone and everything in inconsequential. Religion is baseless hope for the people unable to accept that they are not important.

Personally, I believe I am a product of science, a chance happening of evolution.
After death, I will go in a box or donate my body to science. The brain dies with the body, so I will no longer exist. I have no need to feel I should live for eternity.
I don't think any religion is wrong, as long as the person believing it thinks it is truth. It's a personal choice.

I'm from Omaha. When I die, I will go to medical school. (as a cadaver to be practiced on.)
Sorry. Your question is serious and asked with respect and I shouldn't treat it like a joke.
Atheists have questions too, we are just reluctant to accept extraordinary claims without any evidence. I believe that dead things tend to stay dead no matter what we would like to believe. I have stomped on enough ants and gone to enough funerals to prove that one myself. I also believe that one 2000 year old story to the contrary is no proof of anything.
Many of the things promised by Christianity would be nice if they were true but they are either downright impossible or highly unlikely in the same world where the current laws of physics allow my refrigerator to work.

i beilieve that i came from my mothers womb ............ which happend to be the product of my mother and father expressing a form of physical need for pleasure or love for each other........... thus i was made ......... after death?!?!?! i do not believe that is up to me i would hope heaven ....... should i stay on top of things ........ i meen u don't ask questions of an athiest man ........... in most cases we r atheists for a reason and so we have perfectly reasonable exuses for what we believe so u can try to go up against an athiest but it ain't gona be easy ......... i meen seriously and it ain't like we got all that on our side in the form of ligit proof that people can see undeniably ........... it is more based on bilieving in some thing that u can never realy prove ...... if u think about it if the concept of "god" was never around or was forgoten by society ..... would the beliver not be people who society would drug up on medication and hospitalize for being delusional...... if u think about it it can get pretty scary ......... i meen seriously we r realy lucky ......

Science, physics, math are all doing more to explain the universe than the Christian mythology. We believe in the same thing that makes your car run and your MP3 player...play. Religion is like toilet paper stuck to the shoe of society...embarassing.

People evolved. It is the way of things.
When I die, I expect there will be an end of me. Just as there was nothing of my concious before I was born so will my concious, my being, return to nothingness.
If there is more than that so be it. I will take what I get.

evolution you fool!!! when you die, your body decomposes into the ground. i dont need to believe in some god in order to have any kind of assurance in my life....that just shows weakness. all i need is my own happiness and the love of my family and my relationships. god means nothing to me and never will.
